On behalf of the Organizing Committee of Global IPv6 Summit in China 2006, I am pleased to invite you and your company to attend the Summit, which is to be held from April 12 to 14, 2006 at Beijing International Convention Center, Beijing, China.

Regarded as the most important IPv6 event in the world, Global IPv6 Summit is endorsed by China Next Generation Internet (CNGI). The theme of this summit is: IPv6: The New Internet-The Future is Here.

This year China major carrier's backbone has already been set up. CNGI's application projects sponsored by China government has accomplished. CNGI-2's plan is also underway. Many new applications appear worldwide. Internet is changing its original face with the vast applications. IPv6 ShowNet and demo at site will bring you to the future.

Global IPv6 Summit in China has been successfully been held for four times from 2002 to 2005. This year's event is featured by a variety of activities: keynote speech, technical sessions, top leaders' dialogues, IPv6 ShowNet, IPv6 & CNGI, IPv6 Ready, IPv6 and Olympic Beijing 2008 etc. The total anticipated attendee will exceed 3000.

Vinton Cerf, Wu Hequan, Latif Ladid, Jun Murai, Jim Bound, officials from EC, France, Japan, Korea, America and China will speak on the Summit and participate in the variety of activities.
